Great review of Dog Whistler by The Animal Planet: http://animal.discovery.com/videos/the-daily-treat-the-dog-whistler.html

* * Great training app for your pet! ++ Besides a dog whistle, customers have reported using it as an anti-mosquito device, simple simple hearing test, and a tool to annoy others with its high frequency pitch. Instructions

To activate Dog Whistler Pro start by choosing a frequency by pushing the slider to the right or left at the top of the screen. You can also manually enter a frequency number (80Hz to 20,000Hz) in the box provided or hit the left/right arrow keys to the sides of the slider.

Next choose a type of frequency to emit by hitting the "Type" button on the top right hand part of screen. Your choices are: Tone, Short Beeps, Long Beeps, Slow 500Hz Oscillation, 500Hz Oscillation, Fast 500Hz Oscillation, Slow 1KHz Oscillation, 1KHz Oscillation, Fast 1KHz Oscillation, Slow 2.5KHz Oscillation, 2.5KHz Oscillation, Fast 2.5KHz Oscillation, Static, Slow 5KHz Oscillation, 5KHz Oscillation, and Fast 5KHz Oscillation.

Once you have chosen a frequency level and type, select a mode of “Manual”, "Continuous" or “Timer” via the buttons located below the whistle.

Mode Options:

Manual:

After hitting the “Manual” button, push the whistle in the center of the screen. This will iniate the sound frequency you chose previously. To stop the noise, hit the whistle again.

Note: while activated, you can slide the frequency bar "on the fly" to hear each frequency level. This is useful in fine tuning the frequency level you desire.

Continuous:

After choosing the "Continuous" mode, push the whistle to activate a continuous sound. In order to turn it off, you need to click the whistle again.

Timer: Once you push the “Timer” button another screen will pop up allowing you to enter a Delay and Duration of your chosen frequency. After choosing your desired settings, hit the “Done” button on the top left hand side of the screen.

Timer settings:

Delay” refers to the time you want to wait before the sound is activated. For example, if you want to hide the phone somewhere before the sound goes off, choose the amount of time it should wait before activating.

Duration” means the time the sound will be emitted once the delay time has been reached. For example, if you set it to 'Infinite' then the sound will continue until you deactivate it. In the timer mode, you deactivate by hitting the Stop button under the animated speaker.

"Motion Activated": by clicking "On", this allows you to set an alarm to activate upon motion detected by the iPhone rather than a time based activation. The delay and duration functions work the same in this motion alarm mode. Example: if you set a delay of 5 seconds with a duration of 1 minute, you will have 5 seconds to place the phone down before any motion will be detected. After 5 seconds, if the phone moves this motion will be detected and the alarm will sound off for 1 minute. In order to turn it off prior to the 1 minute setting, you need to tap the screen once with 4 fingers.

Using a Preset: There are four (4) default preset buttons at the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them once to establish your desired frequency and then hit the dog whistle to emit the sound.

Creating a Preset: After choosing your desired frequency with the sliding bar, hold one of the dog bone preset buttons down three (3) seconds. This will establish a new preset frequency.
