To activate Dog Whistler start by choosing a frequency by pushing the slider to the right or left at the top of the screen. You can also manually enter a frequency number (80Hz to 20,000Hz) in the box provided or hit the left/right arrow keys to the sides of the slider.


Once you have chosen a frequency level and type, select a mode of “Manual”, "Continuous" via the buttons located below the whistle.


Mode Options:



After hitting the “Manual” button, push the whistle in the center of the screen. This will iniate the sound frequency you chose previously. To stop the noise, hit the whistle again.


Note: while activated, you can slide the frequency bar "on the fly" to hear each frequency level. This is useful in fine tuning the frequency level you desire.



After choosing the "Continuous" mode, push the whistle to activate a continuous sound. In order to turn it off, you need to click the whistle again.

Using a PresetThere are four (4) default preset buttons at the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them once to establish your desired frequency and then hit the dog whistle to emit the sound.


Creating a Preset: After choosing your desired frequency with the sliding bar, hold one of the dog bone preset buttons down three (3) seconds. This will establish a new preset frequency.

Rough estimate of hearing ranges based on age

<18 years old= 20,000 Hz

<30 years old= 16,000 Hz

<40 years old= 15,000 Hz

<50 years old= 12,000 Hz

<60 years old= 10,000 Hz
